For example, the non-availability of some of the constituent drugs especially the roots and barks of various plants/trees increase in the demand of Ayurvedic drugs leading to substitution/adulteration, imposition of new laws to protect environment as well as various plant species and the problems experienced by the pharmaceutical industry to prepare these formulations according to the classical descriptions mentioned in the first edition.
